Whether you’re a bride-to-be, or just a fan of luminous photography, I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Abigail, a Knoxville wedding photographer, and I’m thrilled to share a bit of my heart with you.
From the time I was 8 years old – maybe even longer – I knew I wanted to be an artist. I will never forget that electric spark, that overwhelming feeling, that came from developing my first roll of black and white film. While studying photography at Carson-Newman University my love for photography deepened as I gained a greater appreciation of its history and impact. And ever since the day I flipped my graduation tassel, I’ve been documenting the vibrant personalities and breathtaking love stories of East Tennessee!
With a style that is ethereal, romantic, and timeless, I craft images that are filled with genuine emotion. From the sentimental to the bold, I document every single moment in a way that’s true to the story unfolding before me. By intentionally focusing on connection and emotion, I take photos you won’t just see; I create immersive photos you’ll feel. And with my second shooter/husband Ben by my side, we ensure nothing is missed! He’s a talented photographer, too, and just wait ‘til you see the candids he can capture!
But nothing makes my heart happier than imagining my clients 50 years from now sharing their wedding day photos with future generations. I feel a deep responsibility to preserve the memories entrusted to me. As a mom myself, I’m counting down the days until Jack is old enough to flip through our family history told in photos. And that nostalgia is a gift I will never, ever get tired of giving to clients.
But when I’m not spending time with clients, I’m probably snuggled up in my PJs with my husband and son for a movie night in our Powell, TN home, trying out a new recipe (please, send me all your favorite pie recipes!), or heading to a family BBQ on a summer afternoon. I am obsessed with chips and salsa, the colors splashed across the sky just after the sun sets, and my Grandmother’s wrinkled, crooked, beautiful hands she used to teach me to quilt. My family is my world, which probably explains why I love documenting the day yours begins and all the joy that comes in the years that follow.
I can’t wait to get to know you and preserve this chapter in your story through images you’ll treasure for a lifetime!

Education For Photographers
If there’s one thing I know as a professional photographer it’s that the best kind of solo-business ownership isn’t solo at all! After making the decision to invest in myself, I was able to grow a profitable photography business thanks in large part to the generous mentors who helped me along the way. And now, I am thrilled to offer that same hand of support to you.
