Emma and Ethan had the most beautiful late November wedding at Marblegate Farm. As a Knoxville wedding photographer here in the southeast, I am a huge fan of November, it may even be my favorite month for weddings. I look forward to my November weddings all year, and this one did not disappoint! The muted yet vibrant mauve, crimson, ivory, and caramel color pallet was spot on and, as usual, the florals by Thistle and Lace were truly artful. One of my favorite details, the arbor, which paired floral with vivid fall leaves, was a showstopper. Aside from all the perfectly romantic details dreamt up by the bride Emma herself and Whitney Bowman Events, Emma and Ethan were also a joy to work with. They are sweet and genuine and made my job ridiculously easy because of their outward love for each other that pours out of every photograph. I feel humbled and appreciative to have worked with some of the best Knoxville wedding vendors at this Marblegate Farm wedding, which is what makes being a wedding photographer in Knoxville so rewarding!

This romantic Knoxville bridal boudoir session with will have you swooning! The muted blues add a modern colorful twist that perfectly accent the softness of the blush, lace, silk, and tulle. Being a photographer herself, Morgan gave us the freedom to plan the session with ultimate creativity. This shoot was truly a dream come true, with so many amazing details that far exceeded my wildest dreams. My absolute favorite is the delicate a-symmetrical floral crown, dreamt up by Anna Moss, that beautifully frames Morgan’s face. This session was shot on Kodak Portra 800 in studio with a mix of natural and strobe lighting. As a Knoxville wedding photographer, it makes my heart full to be a part of a collaboration that comes together so well, and gives a bride a truly special experience!

You will be enchanted by this elegant spring wedding’s charming blush pallet paired with classic tuxedos at Duke Mansion Wedding in Charlotte NC. The beautiful Duke Mansion Bed and Breakfast in Charlotte, North Carolina was the absolute perfect setting for Marie and Perry’s elegant wedding this past spring. They chose a traditional church ceremony with reception to follow at Duke Mansion. Their wedding was sweet and timeless on an absolutely perfect spring day! Marie and Perry chose not to have a first look, but instead read each other love notes before heading off to the church. The gardens at Duke Mansion were glowing in the evening light as their guests dined under the stars and bistro lights, with an amazing dance party after!

Modern and minimalistic lifestyle newborn session in Knoxville Tennessee with light and airy colors that perfectly compliment this sweet new addition. Less is more when it comes to newborn sessions. Keeping the colors clean and neutral with no props help baby shine, and create an authentic feel! I have known this sweet couple for several years now, and have had the pleasure of documenting their lives going all the way back to Kelsie’s senior portraits! I cannot wait to watch this precious family grow in the future!

If you want to know what adds a lot of charm to an engagement session, pick a location that is meaningful to you! Hannah and Derrick’s engagement session was truly special because she picked her Grandfather’s farm and orchard in Corryton, just 25 minutes east of Knoxville. This was a special place for her growing up, and she wanted to capture the beauty of this beloved place in her engagement photos. The rolling hills, tall grass and apple trees perfectly compliment her breezy blue sundress during this warm and laid back summer evening in East Tennessee.

A drizzly December day couldn’t stop this beautiful wedding at The Standard in downtown Knoxville, TN…and being eight months pregnant (and huge!) couldn’t stop me from photographing it!

After capturing Rachel’s brother’s wedding in 2015, I fell in love with the family, so when Rachel and her fiancé asked me to photograph theirs, I was over the moon! I had been looking forward to Rachel and Brandon’s wedding all year long, despite my growing belly and aching feet, and it was every bit as elegant, emotional and downright gorgeous as I imagined it would be.
